Tokyo was pretty fun when we came back.
I hung out with a couple seemingly random (and incredibly cool) Tokyo residents and Jenny (she's cool, too).




At about 4:30 the sun usually rises.  I ran up my hotel steps when I saw my Hello Kitty watch flash 4:40.
Strangely, there wasn't anything to miss.  The sun simply doesn't rise in Tokyo.
Slowly but surely it got slightly brighter than this, but the sky is just pure grey most of the day due to smog.
